Dress for Less: Shine Bright or How to Wear Metallics

From Elle McPherson strutting around in her infamous silver pants to Kim Kardashian and Cindy Crawford’s futuristic dresses at the MET Gala, metallics are seen everywhere and are one of the biggest trends of Spring/Summer 2016, which found its way both into clothing and footwear.

Major high street retailers, like Mango, Zara, River Island, H&M and Office, have jumped on the trend and came up with their own interpretations of the trend.

Like many women, I love a bit of a sparkle so metallics found a quick way to my wardrobe. Today you can find metallics in different shades of silver, gold or rose gold, making them very versatile. Simple and minimalistic, metallic shoes or wardrobe pieces make the whole outfit look polished, elegant and expensive.
