    Designer Profile: Huishan Zhang Wins Dorchester Fashion Prize

    Last year I was lucky to attend London Fashion Week in my capacity as a fashion editor for a small start-up magazine. Out of many collections I got to see one stuck out, it was a presentation by China-born Huishan Zhang. His S/S 2013 collection, inspired by his homeland, was superb both in the execution and presentation.  With Latin American jazz playing in the background, models with hair beautifully braided, glided across the room in elegant and ultra feminine designs.     Designer Sweatshirt Collection Launched for Westfield’s 5th Anniversary

    I rarely get excited about designer collaborations with high-street shops and those created for a certain cause. This time was exception! First of all, I had to embrace this season’s hottest trend – a cool sweatshirt. Second, as a humanitarian at heart, I was happy that ALL proceeds from this collection’s sale go to Save the Children. Westfield London, London’s great shopping centre, teamed up with five talented designers, Louise Gray, Richard Nicoll, Sophia Webster, Thomas Tait and my beloved Peter Pilotto, to create 5 one of a kind sweatshirts to celebrate its 5th anniversary in style.
