2012 LFW Report Day 3: LFW is More Than a Catwalk
Today, while fashion editors, bloggers and everyone else queued for the shows or leisurely sipped coffee in the lounge areas, I decided to check out infamous LFW showrooms. Armed with LFW’s ‘Little Black Book’ that has information on all participating designers and coveted press pass, I scouted the premises of the Exhibition space (open to media and buyers only). The sun was bright and sunny today in London and I continued my quest to bring you the best of the London Fashion Week (LFW). Today I attended five shows, predominantly of Asian designers based in London. With high heels on and red lipstick as a weapon, I conquered one show after another. Last night I attended my first LFW Launch party (courtesy of Felicities PR), rubbing shoulders with many ‘who is who’ of the fashion world. While statuesque models roamed around in latest designer creations, stylists, designers, bloggers, editors and other fashionastas, like myself, sipped cocktails and talked about much anticipated events in the next several days.
