Designer Sweatshirt Collection Launched for Westfield’s 5th Anniversary
I rarely get excited about designer collaborations with high-street shops and those created for a certain cause. This time was exception! First of all, I had to embrace this season’s hottest trend – a cool sweatshirt. Second, as a humanitarian at heart, I was happy that ALL proceeds from this collection’s sale go to Save the Children.
Westfield London, London’s great shopping centre, teamed up with five talented designers, Louise Gray, Richard Nicoll, Sophia Webster, Thomas Tait and my beloved Peter Pilotto, to create 5 one of a kind sweatshirts to celebrate its 5th anniversary in style. The collection launched today and there are only 300 pieces in stock. Sweatshirts are £65 each (in sizes S, M and L) and will be on sale until 3rd November. I personally set my eyes on Peter Pilotto (see below black with fire design) and Louise Gray’s creation.
Also love Sophia Webster’s quirky creation with stripes and jewels (seen here), but baby pink doesn’t look good on me…!
So, I settled for Louise Gray’s sweatshirt simply because I loved the way she mixed prints and how yellow sunflowers remind me van Gogh! Also, it’s the only sweatshirt that has design both on the front and back and is made out of breathable material. Very cool and practical at the same time! I hope those of you who live in London get a chance to grab one of these exclusive sweatshirts.
